Beauty Blender vs. Sonia Kashuk Blender

Recently after I switched foundations I wasn't liking the way it ended up looking.  I was using the MAC 187 brush with MAC Face & Body foundation I looked FLAWLESS but when I switched to Studio Sculpt, the 187 wasn't giving that look I loved.  LIGHT BULB!  I've had the Beauty Blender & the Sonia Kashuk Blender for a long time but forgot about them after I realized they soaked up too much Face & Body foundation.  Both sponges get me that flawless finish I like but How do they compare & which one is better???

[Both damp -- Pink : BeautyBlender Purple: Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge]

C O N S

How do they compare & which one is better ???

[Both sponges dry -- BB is smaller than the Sonia Kashuk Blender.]

[ Both Sponges damp --  BB doubles in size while the Sonia Kashuk blender stays the same.]

>>> I've had the Beauty Blender for way longer (almost 2 years) & used it more and its still the same as when I bought it.  I've had the Sonia Kashuk Blender not even a year & hardly ever used it & its already beginning to crumble in some areas.  So while it is cheaper you'll have to replace it more often.

>>> Another thing I don't like about the Sonia Kashuk is that it stays the same size when damp.  At first it didn't bother me but I soon realized that makes it soak up more product & makes it harder to wash.
>>> I purchased my BB at The Make-Up Show NYC several years back for cheaper than $20 but it isn't available at a local store, Target like the Sonia Kashuk blender.

 >>> Right of the bat many people think cheaper is better, so the Sonia Kashuk is their obvious choice.  Don't get me wrong it gets you that flawless finish, but if I had to choose the Beauty Blender would be my choice.

 >>> But its a consumer's choice.  If you prefer Instant Gratification than the Sonia Kashuk would be your choice tho slightly lesser quality.  If you prefer a better quality product Beauty Blender would be your choice because tho slightly more expensive it lasts longer as a result of quality.

Great review & comparison. I honestly don't know what I'd do without my BB.

Thanks for this review. I don't have either product but was considering getting one. I probably would have gone for price because I didn't know any better but now I want quality.

For quite a while I've been viewing the BB sponge it's around £20 over here but if your saying you've nearly had it for nearly 2years and it's still in good condition.

Sometimes its better to with something that's not going to cost you more than the competition .
