On the Prowl

If you didn't know, Halloween is one of my FAVORITE holidays.  I love love the fall.  I tend to enjoy fall cosmetic launches more than any other season's.  Its only August but Wet & Wild has already released some Halloween collections.  I saw a bunch of Fantasy Makers lashes, make-up & sets at my Harmon Discount store.  I'll go back for those at a later date.  My eyes were set on the limited edition, fast dry nail polish collection, On the Prowl.  I snatched up 7 of the 8 shades.  They only shade i couldn't bother with was Jungle Fever, a shimmery green.  I hate greens on myself.  Of the 8 nail polishes, 6 are solid colors & 2 are glittery top coats.

Late Night

Just a look I came up with while playing around with make-up in the middle of the night.  Several products I used, sat in my drawers for forever because I didn't like them when I got them.  But upon using them last night they grew on me.  I'm looking at you Revlon colorstay & MAC prep & prime powder =]I also tried out the Beauty Angel palette & I must say I'm impressed!  The shadows have a lot of dimension on the lid.  The color i used all over the lid was a dark brown in the pan but when I blended it, the color turned kinda plummy.  I actually liked the outcome.

Wet & Wild has easily become my favorite drug store brand.  For the most part everyone of their products is quality INCLUDING their eye shadows which is rare in DS brands.  When I saw that they were launching a new collection this week, I headed straight to Harmon Discount (my new go-to DS). Seriously they never fail a make-up addict like myself.  They are on point with their limited edition releases. The minute I saw the Dream Weaver collection, I snatched up all the trios left on the display LOL (post on that coming up).

The Gilded Age

I hate a date last night & didn't know what to throw on my face BUT It occurred to me to dig through the basket of new/need to use products.  The Wet & Wild trio made its way into my hands & I tell all of you hazel eyed beauties NEED this trio.  I'm currently trying to hunt down a back-up because it accentuated my eyes like no other. & anyone who knows me knows these colors are NOT me at all, so that should tell you something. The look is very easy & budget friendly as I tried to use as many drugstore products as I could =]

Go for The Gold

I had been seeing pictures and swatches of the 2 piece LE summer collection Wet & Wild created for a couple weeks now.  Being that I have it in my mind to be a bronze goddess this summer, which is a BIG change for me considering I try not to over tan considering my location.  But whatever ... I thought I would have to search high & low for this collection since my local drugstores never seem to get these collections in anymore, so imagine my JOY when I stumbled upon the display.  I snatched up both the trio & bronzer in a heart beat & I'm happy I did. & the extreme couponer in me came out!
I love Harmons b/c their products are always discount from retail price & they send monthly coupons out of $$ or a % off your entire purchase.  PLUS this month they had Wet & Wild coupons for an extra $1 off.  I ended up getting these for $1 & change, where as they are normally $2.99. Woot Woot, Go ME!

The trio is gorgeous!!! I see myself reaching for it often!  The bronzer is ok. I wouldn't use it as a bronzer because personally I prefer a matte finish.  I think it will be a nice highlight on the face tho.  Its very smooth & not chunky.
