The best thing that ever happened to me was having nieces first. My oldest niece and I are 10 years apart ... she's like my sister/child. We grew up together in the same household & I understand her more than my sister, her mother because we are closer in age. She's always been into lipgloss & just recently started getting into make-up. She's getting older & more self-conscious about skin imperfections. So I took it upon myself to show her the right way down the beauty word because she tells me 8th grade make-up horror stories. Like she says her best friend wears baby blue eyeshadow form lid to brow or girls cake foundation on... *sigh* Where are the parents???
ANYWAYS my booger & I go all out on her make-up ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS ONLY! & by all out i mean the whole face -- shadow, blush, foundation, & gloss. I usually keep it light BUT since it was New Year's Eve, she wanted a purple smokey eye. This girl was asking for it! My parents a super strict, & they barely let her put on eyeliner. So when they saw her, they flipped! Lol! So after the pictures I blended it out some more and all was well

my niece and i are 10 years apart, too. she's into makeup but my sis is having no parts of it. she only gets to wear it when she goes to her modeling classes. she begged me to take her to MAC but i just got her a neutral lipglass. i hope to break my sister down soon to let her wear makeup w/ me on weekends.
