Something like a Sunset

I haven't been buying make-up like I used to because I feel like i have many things that are untouched....  So going into my stash I found this palette that I made a couple years back at the Make-up Forever Booth at the  NYC make-up show.  I found this raspberryish color and I had to use it today!

BTW I didn't use foundation today because I felt like my skin looked dull so I mixed Mac's vanilla pigment to give my skin a glow and it worked!  I love it!

to be a MATTE shadow the MUFE went n smooth as butter & very pigmented!  DEF a must buy!

I forgot how much I LOVED smashbox glosses!  Def. not sticky on the lips although it doesn't have the vanilla scent of MAC's that i <333! 

Dare To Wear is coming out tomorrow!  Anybody Getting anything???  The lipglosses i'm going to pass on BUT I think i'm getting Going Bananas, Shock-a-holic, & Sassy Grass.  I'm going to look at louder,please & zingy ...  And i already own a lot of the permanent & pro colors so i'll try to do something inspired

Who loves Revlon Colorstay????  I tried it because I saw so many ladies all over with bangin' skin in their photos but Guess what???    I DIDN'T LIKE IT!  It didn't look good on my skin and it was really heavy.  AND my skin hated it 2 days later and my skin is dry and itchy.  Plus it didn't match my skin tone.  I'm really yellow-olive and none of the colors matched my skin ... OH WELL i guess ...

ANYWAYS

Sometimes I go through times where I can't come up with a new combination to save my life so I revert to an old combo BUT I hate do the same thing over and over and over again ...  So I was looking through the MAC combination list website and Passionate isn't the color I was looking to use but I liked the combo so today I tried it out.  Obviously I tweaked it to my liking.  & my camera was cooperating SO i got lots of pix sorry lol

if you follow me on twitter you'll know that i've been trying to blog for the past 2 days and every time i turned my computer on the power goes out ugghh! So annoying because in jersey we are in the middle of a heat wave! Seriously haven't even bothered to go out unless necessary...  It's like the minute you move you sweat YUCK! Anyways i did some make-up on monday and tuesday i had a trial with a bride so i ALWAYS make sure i'm done up to the nines when i'm working ...

please do not mind the sweaty face! as i said i live in an area where we are in the midst of a heat wave and regardless of whether the AC is blasting or not any movement makes u sweat and i am not one to sweat ...
