Fall Inspired + Tutorial

Yeah you read right Tutorial!  For YEARS, People have stopped me asking to do Youtube vids even when I wasn't that good.  Fast Forward, I bought a camcorder last month but was hesitant to record as I have no knowledge of this.  Than I Meet Richie Nickle who tells me i have to record mind u, I looked like a HOT FUCKING MESS because It was hot in NYC.  Than like 80 girls are asking me if i'm on youtube.  That being said yesterday I finally recorded but as I was editing something happened.  AGAIN I have no knowledge of this so I was like EHHH.  This morning i tried it again AND this is the result.  I re-did a look that I posted on Specktra last year that people requested.  (If you have a look u want done REQUEST NOW!) 

My Dark Magic

I'm such an old lady, at 23 I don't go out as much like I used to... But on Saturday my friend text me last minute to go out for a drink.  I had no clue how to due my make-up but Lindsey from Pretty as Peaches suggested a smokey teal or smokey purple look. I went with purple being that I had My Dark Magic & Designer Purple Pearlglide that needed love.  AND I busted out these old Rimmel Lashes I bought like years ago!

I wish girls wouldn't stare so hard when they see me at 2pm with a full face of make-up, hair done, and dressed LIKE a normal person.  I mean damn I should be staring at them like they're the weird ones looking like they rolled out bed mid afternoon.  Don't Hate, CONGRATULATE! LOL #justsaying

ANYWAYS idk what to call my look today Which I Loved once it was finished =]  It reminds me of the Nars Rajasthan Duo that I was going to buy during the Sephora friends and family sale.  Oh Well I'll get something else instead.  Sorry for the lack of reviews I haven't purchased any make-up lately =/  I'm moving soon so once I get situated in my NEW home which I'm so excited for I'll get back on the ball.  I have so many ideas for my room which I haven't even seen so i'll have to see before I can finalize my design. I'm so excited & I know I'll be happier there =]  My furniture is BLACK so if anyone has any ideas send it over! I'm always open for more ideas!!!

OH and I got a haircut with my mom yesterday.  I like it lots.  I got about 5 inches off so my hair is so healthy right now.  You can't really see it in the pictures as I usually take pictures when my iron is heating up

Another look from today!  I have like NO pictures because I was running late for class BUT I wanted to post.  I wanted to do a plum lip but I ran out of time.  There is always tomorrow =]

Harajuku Barbie ???

So on on my way to class today minding my business when so girl stops me and says my make-up is like Nicki Minaj's.  I guess it was a compliment BUT I don't follow Miss Minaj so I was just like eh!  Nothing against her I do see her make-up and it cute BUT I am no follower.  I've been doing my make-up long before Nicki was relevant.  WHATEVER! I've never seen a look like mine on her

In my head I had a different look but as I was doing it this is what came out...

Peacocky & Undercurrent

I'm like in LOVE with the Kat Von D Memento Mori palette.  I reach for it whenever I have no clue about what I'm trying to do with my make-up.  Saturday was one of those days. I had a party to go to at my best friend's house SB:(@Krislloyd tweet him with any of your fashion questions and such he's give it to you like it is & yes he can because he's been in the industry for several years now working with models & designers =]).  ANYWHO this is the look I came up with using Undercurrent pearlglide as a base which I have NEVER used since I got it!  It's so pretty! and I also pulled out Peacocky Glitter liner <333 I forgot how pretty it was!  OH and my go to lip lately has been Strange Potion & Sweet Tart, I've gotten so many compliments on it.  Def. don't regret purchasing Strange Potion!

P.S.  I kinda recorded this look because i had natural light coming in, to see how it came out I'm gunna play around with it since i have no editing or video knowledge =]

Hella Sick..

But I looked hella cute today!  Whoop Whoop!!!! Nothing like looking cute to help you feel better.  I have like the worst cold of 2010 & its messing with my asthma.  Me & not being able to breathe = a hella cranky bitch .. yeah i'll admitt it =]  BUT this week the weather is finally feeling like fall so I had to break out one of the 1000000000 cardigans that still had the tags on them waiting to be worn.  Make-up is inspired from my cardigan, purple grey & black.  ID give a rats A** if your not suposed to match your make-up to you clothes... Its obvious i don't follow rules =]

Beep Beep who got the keys to my jeep ???

I don't own a jeep LOL!  I was going to name this post I can't stand the rain & than that Missy Elliot song popped in my head so I figured I ride with it ... Proceeding on this is my I have a 8 am monday morning history lecture class and I'm not trying to look like a dead like everyone else in the class.  Although when the teacher puts on the video, turns off the lights when i blink my eyes feel so good closed I don't bother to open them for 5 minutes.  ANYWHO so we finally get cooler temperatures but its raining.  Like pouring cats & dogs rain.  Like i don't own rainboots & an umbrella yet i need them rain.  I got to class soaking wet!   Tho my pictures were taking pre wet dog status ...

SB: i hate wearing brown LOL looks at the picks made me realize that luckily its my pj shirt

Drugstore Finds

I'm always envious of those who are close to drugstores that update their make-up sections frequently.  Maybe thats why I never get into drugstore make-up until I started blogging.  Well the other night I stop by the Rite-Aid by my house and they FINALLY put in the new Wet & Wild display which has been out for months now.  I have seen many Blogger Babes reviewing the lipsticks so I picked one up.  They also had a display with new Color Icon polishes that were all dark and vampy, perfect for fall.  AND finally they had the NYC summer stuff out LOL. 

Left - Right:  Wet & Wild Color Icon Polishes in Prowler & Blue Jitters, NYC Blushable Creme Sticks in Wild Berry & Pink Flash, Wet & Wild Matte lipstick in 901B

Wet & Wild Blue Jitters (last 2 fingers) -- black base with blue glitter (3 coats)

Wet & Wild Prowler (first 2 fingers) -- Black base w/ fuchsia glitter (3 coats)  like MAC young punk mes in polish form

Both polishes were $1.99 each.  I'm on the fence about them but idk why just yet.  These were just quick swatches so idk how they were.  I've never bought Wet & Wild polish before so idk how they compare to the other polishes.

Wet & Wild Matte lipstick in 901B ($2.99)  -- soft yellow-based pink

It didn't seem drying on the swatch & honestly if it didn't say matte I wouldn't consider it as such.  Its supposed to last 4 hours but I have yet to actually use it.

I hardly ever wear creme blushes.  I just don't like them but since these were so inexpensive i decided to give them a try.  They are actually very pigmented for the price.  I can't say if these are long lasting because I have yet to try them BUT a trick for making creme products long lasting is to set them with a powder.  

I'll get back to you guys with how the products work out.  What are some of your recent drugstore purchases and how do you like them???
