What Joy!

Long time no post. Sorry pretties, I got caught up in school. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!  Onto the make-ups. This has literally been my go to type of look lately. Nude eyes, lots of lash, warm cheek and a bold lip.  I have been into reds and plums since fall hit.  I purchased What Joy! lipstick from the MAC Glitter & Ice collection but didn't use it.  I used it yesterday and OMG! Love at first swipe.  I love the deep berry shade.

DISREGARD how my camera picked up the loose powder. UGH! idk why it does that since it looks fine in person BUT thats why I stopped using the Prep & Prime powder when I first got it.

Runway Red

I've had this lipstick for weeks and didn't bother to touch it.  Im so into red lips right now tho.  This is the perfect fall red.  Somewhat deep but still red. I dont usually repeat looks within a week but I did almost the same look within days, that's how much I love this lipstick.

For both looks I used the same face products. My foundation of choice lately has been MUFE HD #120.  My concealer is always a mix of MAC Select Cover-UP NC20/30.  & my finishing powder is a touch of MAC prep & prime loose. & I don't forget bronzer! IDK if it's the jersey in me or what but I use bronzer EVERYDAY. Aside from blush, it makes me look alive! My current favorite is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil.

Too Faced

Many moons ago I purchased a wonderful Too Faced palette & tho I use it, I never seemed to do an official FOTD for it.  Well I've been in a no make-up make-up type of mood lately.  Everything revolves around neutrals if I even wear anything on my eyes.  The Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland palette is LOVE.  I had never tried any of their shadows before but I am convinced I need more. 

Spring Ready & Tutorial

This is a look I came up with the other day after looking thru a magazine & the color story was about color blocking. I really liked the mix of neutrals, aquas, & my all time favorite spring time color CORAL!

I am so into neutrals right now but with a twist.  I'm feeling taupey colors in all shapes in forms.  I've had MUD (make-up designory) Galaxy eyeshadow for EONS but never really touched it.  As of late its my go to color.  Its a perfect everyday smokey color, without going over board.  

Mighty Aphrodite

I'm behind on like a gazillion posts.  One of them is my mini Wonder Woman haul.  While I post that up someday I'll just let you know my new FAVORITE blush is .... Mighty Aphrodite.  I tried to convinced myself I was not going to purchase any more peach blushed but i couldn't resist and I'm happy I did.  Its the perfect everyday peachy blush for me!

Belated

I meant to post this up BEFORE Christmas but this got hectic and I got caught up...  IDK if i'll post the tutorial I haven't even uploaded it to my computer.  *sigh*  I hope to get one more tutorial up before New Years, maybe today or tomorrow since we are getting a "blizzard" ...

It's Barbie Bish!

Nicki Minaj is all over!  I admit I wasn't into her at first BUT I had always admired her make-up.  I like that she does bold looks, they're so up my alley.  Lately she's strayed away from a completely bold eye opting for a neutral lid and glitter on her lower lashline.  I was all over it!  I filmed a tutorial for this look it should be up soon!  

I think people will like this look especially since I used a mix of MAC & Wet & WILD products that are easily assessable to everyone!

Your So Vain ....

OMG! I log on and I have over 300 followers! Wat tha frigg?!?!?! I never imagined people would really follow me!  But i'm so happy that my friend Kei (visit her fashion blog) pushed me for months to start a blog & she pushed me to start YT because I didn't want to!  THANK YOU to ALL my followers new & old!  I will be having a Giveaway sometime soon so stay tuned!

OK! Well sometimes I get up and I don't feel like wearing make-up.  Today was one of those days.  Those who follow my tweets know that I have been super busy with School, Xmas, & just life.  SO I wanted to stay in bed ALL day today but OBVIOUSLY (#AntoineDodson voice) that couldn't happen.  I LOVE Wet & Wild's Color Icon Palettes for days like this when I don't have make-up ideas.  This is for all my neutral/brown shadow wearing dolls!  

Its a Birthday Girl!

I was hired by a friend of a friend to do her make-up for her B-day Celebration.  

How Pretty is Jazmyn??? She had a great canvas to work with! She wanted something smokey & sensual but she's not used to wear a lot of make-up.  I stayed neutral and coordinated with her accessories which were gold.   I didn't get that many pix as her friends were arriving & she was busy so I wasn't trying to bother her having a mini photoshoot n front of her guests.

The Takeover

Its offically fall.  Has been for some days now, but today I got up feeling like it was a red lip kinda day.  Not just any red lip, Ruby Woo was calling out to me.  See me and Ruby Woo go way back.  She was the first MAC lipstick I ever purchased.  Before her I only had clear glosses.  Shows you how daring I was,  My 1st lipstick ever was red.  I had no real clue about undertones and all that jazz back than but I knew it would work.  Where Lady Danger is my spring/summer go to red,  Once the wind blows colder and the leaves start falling, Ruby Woo takes over.

Naked Honey

I loved that collection!  Even tho there were only 3 shadows I used them so much last summer and somehow i forgot about them.  Well yesterday I wanted something a little more neutral so of course I broke out some old favorites.  and I absolutely fell in LOVE with this lip combination the the lovely Jessica came up with in a recent FOTD.  I couldn't resist and tried it out!

Project Recreation: Kim Kardashian

Love her or hate her you have to admit she's ALWAYS put together hair, make-up, clothes shoes and accessories.  From the first season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians until today it has been a major transformation.  I LOVE HER!  Idc about all the extra stuff people always talk trash about her about.  We all have something we are not proud of.  But she is everywhere and she's making $$$ doing it.  I loved her make-up when Mario D. was doing it but she has gotten a new make-up artist as of late and i've really been loving all her looks lately.  I loved her look for Lala's wedding & Khadijah's wedding.

Last week the Kardashians unveiled their new Beach Bunny Bikini line with a fashion show.  I liked how her make-up was done in all matte's a change from the shimmery bronze smokey eyes she has been sporting as of late.

OH and I have a new found respect for mother's with  young children seriously!  Somehow I ended up watching my 13 month old nephew & 2 nieces and boy is managing to watch kids and stay pretty is hard!  I didn't get to take many pictures because as soon as I was done they came down and were hungry! The nerve right! lol
