Smoke & Diamonds + Tutorial
I'm BACK! With another holidayish tutorial! I'm going to do some red lips, green eyes, lashes glitter & everything else coming up. I wanted to do a variation to a smokey eye. Silvers look stark on my skin & tend to turn blue so I went for using greys. Hope You Like the tutorial =]
[SB: i love the new winterize effect on picnik]

ELF 100 Shadow Palette
So I was kinda late to the ELF holiday palettes party! I had stopped going to my local target for a while & after seeing some reviews I wasn't sure if they were worth it. Originally I went looking for the smaller 32 for stocking stuffers but they didn't have any. My target had a bunch of the Encyclopedias & some other full face kits but EHHH I passed. Than I discovered the 100 shadow palette & I was skeptical but I picked it up. I'm so HAPPY I did!

Giving Thanks
Just a quick look a threw together today. I helped my mom cook all morning so I didn't have that much time to get ready BUT I liked the way this came out. It would've looked much better if i had liner on but I was super jittery from drinking just coffee. OH! So last night I was at Targhetto & I came across the E.L.F. 100 palette & snatched it up! ALTHOUGH I was only looking for the 32! I must say with a decent base the shadows are pretty good! I'll keep playing around with it to give you guys the nitty gritty!

Night Elf
Ok loves I'm almost back on track! Now if only my dad could finish my closet I'd be rid of the clutter in my room *sigh* One of these days LOL! Anyways this is the look I cam up with using the Wet & Wild Night Elf palette. By far my fav. one after using it. All the colors glided on. & the red was so pretty! To all those who are scared of using it DO NOT be! On the lid it turns into a holiday red no so much a true bright red.
[PS my one eye doesn't look blended BUT it is! I kept looking at the pics and blending over & over & in the mirror it was fine. The camera just wasn't picking it up =(]

Its Like Xmas Exploded onto Your Nails
I love holiday time for things other than the gifts (tho i LOVE presents LOL!) When I saw China Glaze's Holiday sets I knew i had to find them. I usually get all my China Glaze stuff at Sally's but I'm fed up with them. [SB: I've been going to the same sally's for over 5 years longer than that probably. YET the manager still follows me around like I'm some sort or criminal. I DO NOT & have NOT stolen anything ever! She's so obnoxious & rude with her side comments I'm over it!] Well I jumped for joy when I saw the giftsets at my professional only beauty supply. I snatched one set up quick!

Wet & Wild Snow Sprite Color Icon Holiday Palette
In true Beverly fashion I can NOT pass on a good deal. Last weekend when I took my brother & his friends paintballing, I had to entertain myself otherwise. It was like 45 minutes away and I didn't feel like going & coming all day. Well I found a Walgreens. So i figured let me see if they have the holiday palettes. I wasn't going to buy Snow Sprite, I just wanted to take a pic of the display so everyone knew what to look for. When I got there the lady was taking of the sale sticker off of them. So I asked & even tho it didn't come up I got it for $2.50! SCORE!!!!

Wet & Wild Night Elf Color Icon Holiday Palette
As requested by Starfckk on twitter she wanted to see the palette with the Red shadow first.
I will honestly admit I wasn't interested in this palette when I saw others pictures. But as soon as I swatched the colors, I fell in LOVE. They were all smooth and pigmented.

Look What I found...
So after weeks of stalking my local Rite Aid, CVS, & Walgreens for these I finally found....
I was so EXCITED when I found these. I was going to pick up all 4 because Walgreens was having the 50% off sale. But apparently I soon found out that was not so. When I asked the girl in the cosmetics department she said NO. I showed her the ad in the flier which said All Wet & Wild Cosmetics 50% off, so she proceed to call some guy that was on his way out. He was so nasty when he responded to my question. His tone was demeaning & his response was that it was a "holiday set". Before I could even get anything out he proceeded to leave. I almost didn't buy them but they are the ONLY place in my area that I have seen them at. I don't like places that give bad customer service ESPECIALLY when I frequent & recommend them to others. I go out of my way to this same Walgreens many of times even tho I live down the street from a Rite Aid & CVS. Well that is NO MORE!
I've heard mixed responses from other Bloggers who have gotten the discount & some who haven't. Also in the Holiday Collection they have nailpolish duos. I was going to pick some up but again my experience prevented me from doing so. When my Rite Aid puts them out I shall pick them up because the were pretty & sparkly.
I LOVED all these palettes. The texture was smooth and pigmented. No duds. Can't wait to put them to use tomorrow well later today. I am happy I decided to get them i'll probably get the other one soon.
I'll post more pictures, swatches & dupes later today!

A Tale of Tartans
I got to see the entire collection a couple of nights ago in the store and on the displays. The palettes and sets have been a pass to me for several years now so I just looked at the collection.
My collective weekly haul hence firecracker in there.
[click to make bigger] SB: Tell me how u like these pictures! I found out how to take HD pics on my camera. So excited about it =]
The MUA gave me 2 sample of foundation: 1 of Satinfinish which I had before & turned me orange & 1 of Studio Sculpt. I found Firecracker at the CCO & picked it up because I wanted it before but If I can't use my pro discount on something I usually pass LOL!
From A Tartan Tale I purchased My Highland Honey Blush, & Later, The Family Crest, & Moonlight Night Pigments.
More Pictures, Swatches, & Thoughts after the jump
